He Puna Taimoana is open for four sessions per day. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Regular daily session times are:
10.00am – 12.00pm (entry at 10.00am or 10.15am)
12.30pm – 2.30pm (entry at 12.30pm or 12.45pm)
3.00pm – 5.00pm (entry at 3.00pm or 3.15pm)
5.30pm – 7.30pm (entry at 5.30pm or 5.45pm)

Special sessions include Adults Only on Friday nights from 8pm, and Sunrise Soak on Thursday and Saturday mornings (seasonal only - autumn to spring). Keep an eye out for other special sessions that happen regularly throughout the year.

Our facilities are sanitised in between each session.

*Christchurch Resident discounts apply to holders of the He Puna Taimoana Resident Card (Christchurch City Council ratepayers and residents are eligible for this card - proof of address may be asked for when you check in.)

*Spectators will be charged $3 per person, to be paid on arrival.

*People with implanted cardiac devices are unable to use the pools. We apologise for any inconvenience. Talk to staff for more information.

*Paid members (holding annual, monthly, or 10 visit memberships) can use their membership cards to attend any of our regular daily sessions between 10am and 7.30pm without booking. Access to after hours or special event sessions are not included as part of the membership. Access is for the cardholder only - any additional people should book and pay as normal.
